A collaboaration with Martin Diment to create copper and enamel bowls to compliment his Autumn / winter 2019 sweater collection. Exclusively available in the UK.

The collection is British in its DNA with a modern global attitude. This seasons inspiration and brief from Martin was to consider the contorted and awkward self-portraits of Egon Schiele using monochromatic colours and textures.

The detail in Martin’s knitted stitch and colour palette reminded me of seascapes and million-year-old rock eroded by the salt water. The influence of Egon Schiele showing itself in the work with its elongated forms and angled shapes, articulating in metal a reflection of the awkwardness inherent in some of Schiele pieces.
